3.3 miles, very hot and humid, 78°. Post- Yom Kippur fast runs are always pretty ugly, especially for me given my high metabolism, but it’s good to get back out there.

4 miles. Had flu and shingles shots yesterday and noticed my heart rate was 10 to 15 beats higher than usual during the run. Level of effort didn’t feel worse though. Weird.

8M at 9:15, middle 4 under 9.
Completed first cycle of running 2 out of every 3 days like this (EZ, long, off, EZ, fast, off) and survived except for maybe one toenail.
