50th anniversary
8.7 miles with tempo effort totaling 10K. Plan was for 2X 5K and to kill it, as I have done on the same out and back course in recent years. But that plan didn't work this time.
Wasn't really feeling it, so adjusted on the fly with reps of 3.2K, 2.5K, (200 ft net elev. gain) 3K, and 1.3K and ended up with combined time slower than I'd like to see, but it's realistic and a good yardstick. Hope to be back at full strength in a few months.
