Early morning long run to beat some upcoming mid morning rain. Metric marathon 26.5K.
If you're not living on the edge, you're taking up too much room.

12.1 miles about half on gravel/dirt access road, half on pavement where I'm scouting out my half marathon time trial course next month. That section is really flat.
I'll stick to running, thank you.

10k in just under 54 minutes.

Longest run this year had been 4 miles.
Decent effort with no problems.

For some reason 2:05 per lap triggers my sinuses and my throat closes up after 20 minutes.
But at 2:10 per lap it does not.

Maybe the tree pollen is easing up.
Or the warmer weather doesn't irritate as much as the colder.
Or the less effort keeps it from triggering. I noticed it felt fairly easy.

Anyway, bodes well for the rest of the year.

Bummed I missed you guys on the call yesterday.

I ran 3 miles in my neighborhood after a lot of hiking on trails earlier in the day. Foot's not thrilled about it but not bad. I think I pushed it a little from the 3 min on/off but it was feeling good until into mile 3. Next time I may run 1 mile/walk .5 for several intervals.

My pleasure! I didn’t run yesterday, but did ride my bike into the next town to see if their track was open. But it was locked unfortunately. I think there might be a back way to get in there through a cemetery. I’m going to be exploring that next.
