10 miles, new shoes for me too.  However, they are now muddy new shoes.  :'(

5 miles mostly gently uphill then 3 sets of a 3/2/1/4 fartlek (MPpace/HMpace/10Kpace/recoverypace) and then a couple miles easy for recovery.

Too much snow to drive to the higher mountains for skiing this weekend (3 ft here in the past week), so drove to Boulder and skied at a park there. The Buffalo Ranch didn't have enough snow (go figure) so had to do 1K loops for a bit over an hour.
I'll stick to running, thank you.

Legs have been buzzing while trying to sleep for the past few days, but last night I got a really deep undisturbed sleep. Thought I would go an easy 16-18 LSD today, but legs felt progressively better and the weather was half decent, so revised by run to 21K and then finally to 25.3K.
If you're not living on the edge, you're taking up too much room.
