Track workout today! 45 degrees with drizzle. After 5 days of prednisone, I can finally breathe again. Just a quick tuneup before Saturday's CT Masters Games where I am signed up for 5 events (50, 100, 200, long jump, triple jump).
Jog 800m, 20 mins sprint drills
4 x 40m strides of increasing speed, hitting top speed on last one.
3 x 40m starts with blocks and spikes
2 x 100m with blocks and spikes
5 x triple jumps in the wet sand at half speed to get steps and timing.
5 x long jumps at half speed to focus on lift and form.
