Morning, easy jog, bleacher repeats, felt strong.

Evening, 5k time trial.

Low 60s, low humidity, fair breeze, pretty good.
1:50 per lap would get me home in 22:55.
But I felt I should be a little better than that,
even though I bonked on my previous two efforts.

Opened with a 1:51, which was depressing,
ran off a string of 1:48s, then 1:49s, then 1:50s
Held it together and closed the last 400 in 1:42 kick.

7:19, 7:21, 7:19, :42 = 22:42

Finally nailed it. Season best by 32 seconds.
Fastest time in nearly 8 years going back to my all time PR.
Weighed about 222lbs at the end.
Progress is progressing.
Back to longer runs.
