I did the Vail Hill Climb. It hurt like hell, harder than Mt Evans in a way because it's steeper shorter and faster. 7.6 miles with 2,400 ft of elevation gain. 8:35 pace, 1st in age. Good bench mark because men's masters an women's overall champs from Mt. Washington were there and I held my own.
I'll stick to running, thank you.

Coyote, wow!!

Six days after a grueling trail half marathon, I dipped my toes back into sprint workouts with 6 x 150m repeats at the track, @ 80% top speed (after 20 mins plot warmups).  Some young locals (in their 30’s and 40’s) have been trash talking at our Wednesday all-comers track meets, so this old guy needs to put them in their place.
