2 miles in the morning, 2 miles in the evening.
I run one mile, walk a quarter mile, then run another mile.
On a track where I shoveled off a 150 meter path 2 weeks ago.
Had to shovel it again this week. I'm still sore.
Here is the track. The cleared path goes to the halfway point of the turn, so 150 meters are clear.
Out and back is 300 meters, five times to get to 1500 meters, then another 110 meters to get to the mile.
My weight is about 12 weeks ahead of last year.
My mile time is at least 6 weeks ahead.
And I started 5 weeks earlier.
I have a fantasy of getting a BQ this year. But, ooof, need to lose 35 pounds.
At a pound a week I'll miss the qualifying window.
