Just don't make green jello with shredded carrots. This is like the epitome of Mormon food and it is nasty. But if there's a recipe that has crushed pretzels on the bottom, some kind of red jello with strawberries in it, and whipped cream on top, that's hella good and you should totally make it.
June is diversity month (at least for the federal government) and we have to bring in an ethnic food. can I pass one of these off as ethnic? Can I make the strawberry thing with pretzels and say it is mormon? We are supposed to bring in something that is not OUR ethnicity. I know Mormom is not an ethnicity, but I think it would work...
awesome. Post me a recipe. I am so going to make one. I can always wing it with the strawberry one above.
I hadn't seen a Jello mold since I was kid, but a couple of years ago I was confronted with a "rainbow mold" at Thanksgiving dinner with extended family of family members. Some of the guests just *lost their shit* over this thing and couldn't wait for seconds.
This is pretty. Way too pretty to be eaten.
