Gym stuff and 5 miles.

Finally back in the gym after a couple weeks off due to a strained muscle in my chest.  All my gym buddies were were wondering where I've been and were getting worried!  Awww!

2 miles. Pace was decent. Effort felt easy. Getting stronger.

wooo hooo! Finally back! 4 miles after a month off.

So far so good.  No pain today.  The powersteps seem to be working well.

Last high-volume workout before the marathon. 3x3 miles @ 17:47, 17:32, and 16:58 with 0.5-mile recovery, and 14 miles total with warm up and cool down.

Yes, thanks. About 2.5 weeks to go. I have a 10-mile race on Sunday, and the Marathon is two weeks after that.

My goal for the marathon is to break 2:46, which 6:20 pace just does. Unless I have an unexpectedly awesome performance at the 10-miler, that goal will not change.

Crappy 7.5K before a late night meeting.

Those are insane 3 x 3 mile times, I now feel like a tortoise.

Thank you, and thank you, and remember that it's all relative. I'm sure there are some elites who might do 3x3 miles in which each one is under 13:00.
