Easy gym stuff and 5 miles.

Feeling kind of run down today so I modified the gym stuff.

I was scheduled for ten miles at 5 am but my kid got pukey last night, poor thing.  I'm home with her today and will try to sneak something in on the treadmill when she naps.

Hoping to restart in a few days but I've tennis practice or matches just about every day for the past week.

I do notice a big improvement in my aerobic capacity on the tennis court ...which I credit to running.

I just need to figure out how to do both.

Just turned 45, and felt every bit of it on my workout today -

5 x 1 mi in goal of 6:35-6:40, 2-3 min rest

Did 6:55, 6:48, 6:40, 6:37, 6:32

hopefully another 2-4 miles later easy

You know how there are marathon jugglers?  You can start a new thing and run races with a tennis racquet -- bouncing the ball to yourself while running.  i'd be way too uncoordinated to do it.

A tad over 10km. and champing at the bit.
Best running conditions in ages 22c with warm gentle rain
