What were you running during the sporadic part?Like, I can only run a mile right now, so I'd probably bail entirely. I could run/walk 5K. Or I could walk 15K. I could not run/walk 15K.
Do the 5k.
My runs are almost always 5 miles.
Personally, I don't think you're asking for trouble if you run/walk the 15k, as long as you take it easy. For me, the question would be: Would run/walking the 15k or running the 5k be more motivational to me in the long run?
I am leaning toward the 15K. I wish there was a 10K...I would be all over that. I hate 5Ks...they are too short.
Walk run the 15 k. If you are now doing five miles, you are less than five miles away from that goal. I ran walked a marathon after only doing a hm long run. Woerked well. Plus, it isgoing to be motivating you to do more.
