Chillier than yesterday and just as dark. Wore a pair of gloves on this one. 93

It was relatively warm but from the time I set out, 5:30 PM, to the time I got back it was dark. Running in the dark is not nearly as enjoyable even with a good light. 95

The next race I have planned I've run either 7 or 8 times so no way anyone will be able to mislead me lol Plus with over a thousand finishers I will be thrilled if I'm only following 20 people. 98

We had two local races that had marshalling mistakes recently. Three elite women in the Toronto Waterfront Marathon missed a right turn being about 50 meters behind the lead woman and bicycle escort, when they went out of sight, and they ended up going straight and finishing only a half marathon, instead of the second half of the full. At the Niagara Falls Half Marathon, lead bicyclist made a turn too soon and top three men cut the course short by about a kilometer. A quick 10K for me to burn off some energy before Game 7 Jays-Dodgers. |
