I see it's a go again this year... woot!  But I see the course is going to be changing.  Can you give me any insider information?  I really liked last years course.

no, it says it hasn't been finalized with the city yet.  last year we started at Sunnybrook, wound through some great bazillion dollar mansion neighbourhoods, some really well manicured industrial areas, and I swear the whole course was uphill.  But it was a great course, I really liked it.

Is mel lastman square more downtown?

No it is in North York.  Yonge/Sheppard.  It is where the TO marathon starts also.  I run there all the time so I can give you all the nitty gritty when the map comes out.

ah, so maybe it is still in the same general area.  I think I stayed near yonge and eglington last year.

I'll wait to get the dirt from you guys before signing up! :D

It is even further north than yonge/eg.  Easy to drive to though.  I would totally run it if not for the fund raising.

Hi Rio, just seeing this.

Yes change to Mel Lastman Square where Toronto Goodlife marathon starts around.  All races, 5K, 15K (new) and 25K will happen same day.  Course will have to change and awaiting city to basically approve the race routes.

Right now I doubt route will be in same area.  City like to minimize any traffic disruptions, so crossing to the south side of the Hwy 401 might be tough.

Maybe it will be similar to the old TO marathon course which went north to G. Ross Lord and Dufferin etc.
