At the risk of derailing, veggies no longer taste good. I can get them down, but.... bleh.  :(

:( in first trimester (like first 15 weeks) i could only eat veggies if they were in salad (ie a vessel to transport salad dressing into my mouth) or from the Chinese food place! LOL.

I actually feel like crap and wonder if it is not allergies, but a head cold coming on  :panic: still feel light headed but heavy headed at the same time and that i could keel over.

I was a bottomless pit a few weeks ago, then last week, NOTHING sounded good, and now it's only sweet stuff. I'm wondering if salsa might work with veggies instead of hummus. Nice and cold, the tomatoes can taste pretty sweet.... hmmmm....

The shoes are brand new but the superfeet are not. I used to wear kayunos and I really liked them but they made a change to them and they were rubbing the top of my foot raw. When that happened I switched to new balance but then all the pf started happening so I switched back to Asics. The other complication is that I wear narrow so selection islimited.

I had that same issue with a change in the Kayanos - all of a sudden my foot seemed to ride higher in the shoe and the top was too tight. It was the strangest thing. I loved them, too, so it bummed me out.

Even if the shoes are newly purchased, if they are an older model that would mean they've been sitting on a shelf somewhere for a while, yes? So would that break down any of the supportive/cushioning material in the shoe, over time?

I hope you get some relief, I know PF can be a real tough one to get rid of. My sister had good luck treating it with acupuncture. (I know, I say acupuncture for everything...but man, I know it works for me and mr. cgraz for lots of things...)

I'm a believer in acupuncture these days, too. Nothing else has helped my allergies like it has. I'd totally be checking with my acupuncturist to see if she could help with something like PF. I'm probably going to have her work on my back next time I go.

Okay, I've figured it out. If I eat nothing but the Chobani Non-Fat with the fruit on the bottom - which is pretty much all that sounds good right now - I can eat 11 a day. That's okay, right? .....Right?  ;)

Meh. This week has not been great. Tuesday lunch with my dad, then the rest of the loaf of bread, and a few pieces of candy corn for dinner. Then yesterday lunch out with a client (I had a veggie burger, skipped the bun but ate all the cheese and a few of the fries) and pizza for dinner last night.  :o Tomorrow night meeting a friend for dinner at a place I'm not going to be good at. *sigh* Trying to be good in between. Back on track for real on saturday.

Debba- whatever you can eat is fine. Your body and baby will be fine.

So I just got in a fight with DD's preschool director. She knows that we cloth diapered (because she was in diapers when she first started) and told me to buy her plastic pull ups. I was like, i will not. She said she has had some nap time accidents and the cloth trainers i brought for nap time are not good enough. Well, i agree with that, BUT she has not had a nap time accident in a couple weeks. She said she had and that she did two loads of DD's blankets this week and i basically called her out on it and the naptime teacher was not there and the other one just kinda played dumb and said she could not remember any recent accidents. I will look into a cloth alternative that is more waterproof, but i was just pissed because DD really has not had that many nap time accidents lately, maybe just a couple in the past month (over the summer she had a bunch for the first time in a year!). ARGH. I should get on the TM but between that and my crazy bad cramps i may just bail. I took advil and still feel like shit. I can barely stand up straight without pain.

Oh, I know it'll all even out in the end. I just either want yogurt, or a bacon cheeseburger with fries, upsized, please. There's no in-between. It's making me insane because I'm also trying really hard to watch the weight gain.

i hear from so many women that they just crave greasy burgers in pregnancy! LOL. maybe that is why i liked chinese broccoli? I lived on toast, dry cereal, bagels and butter, pasta and butter and that is about it in the first trimester :D

I just ordered two pairs of more waterproof training pants. My poor kid has not had any accidents in weeks and cries every day that she does not need the training pants she has at school, which are not fully waterproof. This just really pissed me off, DD has been out of diapers for over a year and they know we don't use disposable ones for many many reasons. I just do not know why she thought DD was having all these accidents when she has not been having all these accidents  :grr:

That would make me mad, too, meri.

I think the burger thing is maybe a protein/salt combo. It's the only thing that sounds better than fruit-enhanced yogurt right now.

oh yes, i craved potato chips and tater tots a lot in pregnancy. I was buying tater tots every week and DH was just like, i have NEVER seen you eat a tater tot in your life! LOL.

Yeah, I am still really pissed off. I have just been really cranky, going to blame the hormones i guess. DD better hope she has no more accidents now that i just said she did not have any in a few weeks :D

Meri that would piss me off too!  I have been blessed with cramps today while at work.  Thanks to percoset  I'm tolerating it well now.  :)

Deb I ate tons of Mac & cheese and peaches with the twins.  Whatever works for you!

Long day today and I'm ready for bed.

Last night DD was bouncing on my uterus and it felt like i was in labor. I almost keeled over. I feel better today, except i barely slept last night. DD woke up around 11:30 and went right back to sleep, but DH was snoring and i was so pissed off still about DD's school, and that i came home ot her Thomas the train shirt inside out and not sure why they had her turn it inside out at school, so another thing to bitch about this morning.  :bat: It is unclear from my 3.5yo if just she had to turn her shirt inside out or all the kids did. I really do not know why. They are having a big 20th anniversary celebration for the school tomorrow, so wondering if they did pictures, but then why not just change her shirt to something in her clothing bag? fun times.

All those issues would make me nuts, meri. Reid is ready to move up to the next class, even though he doesn't turn three for another month. He's bored senseless in his class right now, poor kid. There are 2 3-year-old classes, but the one *he* wants is full. The other teacher is perfectly nice, too, he just knows the teacher he wants a little better. His jackass BFF is in the class he wants, too. I'm not sure what to do. Push to move him up now, to a class he doesn't necessarily want to be in, or have him wait until the next school-wide move up and hope a spot opens up in the class he wants.

Ugh.

Oh, and despite a mini-binge yesterday (I could *not* handle the veggies at lunch), the scale is doing okay. I'm back down to a point where I'd like to hold steady for a while. If I could drop another 5 - which would put me at my pre-pregnancy weight - that would be awesome, but I'm not sure I can manage it.

I need to come up with lower-point, healthy lunches that won't make me gag. Apparently one cup of lentil soup is 4 points. WTF, who eats 1 cup? That's not going to help fill me up!
