Thursday March 5th

Another day just above freezing, and the predicted showers were nice enough to keep away for my 11K mid day run.
If you're not living on the edge, you're taking up too much room.

3 mile zone 3 run on a sunny 46° day that’s now clouding over.

Indoor ladder workout with 600, 800, 1000, 800, 600 m at threshold effort, and then 3x 150 m. First running workout (other than just running) for two months.

Later I went xc skiing for a bit (30 minutes) but it was 48 degrees and very slushy, season is about over. We might get a few more days but rain and more warm weather are on the way and it's not going to hold up to that for very long.

1km indoor run

Technically today was another off day. But I played around with my watch settings to get it to continue recording in my fitness app even when it’s on the charger. (The watch battery won’t last as long as my upcoming run is scheduled for!)

After farting around with it for the last week or so, it looks like I have all the correct settings now for “game day”.

p.s. when I say indoor run I don’t mean the treadmill. I mean running back and forth down the hall. F the treadmill.

It was raining, windy, and chilly at 41°F but I had to get in an interval workout because tomorrow I have an Ocrevus infusion and I have a long run planned for Sunday. So I threw on some merino gear and gritted it out at the local track(had to hop the fence, again).

2 mile warm up, 16X400 at 80 seconds w/ 35 second jog between, and a 2 mile cool down. I'm definitely glad I did it but oh man I'm beat.

What watch do you have?
