Monday February 16th
« on: February 16, 2026, 11:06:47 AM »
A slightly warmer day today at 34F and no wind, so that’s something.

Ran about 1.6 miles and felt decent, at least within the confines of what decent means these days since I’m out of shape.  I’ve yet to get my regular runs back up to 5 miles the last few years with a variety of things getting in the way of that, including sloth, injuries, age, etc.  but I’m determined to get there this year and make running fun again.

Glad you're back here and sticking out the running through all the set backs!

I got in a bit over 7 miles and some strides. It was around 38°F and the roads weren't as sloppy as I thought they might be after last night's surprise snow.

Welcome back Red.  :)

Thought of going 10-13 miles today, with temps just over freezing, but legs and energy systems just didn't have it. Thought I would cut back to 5-8K, but felt a bit better eventually and ended up at 11.45K for the day.
If you're not living on the edge, you're taking up too much room.
