Had a beautiful, sunny, 43° day for my 3 mile fartleck run today.  How about them Hawks yesterday?

Dunno about the Hawks, but how about my Broncos yesterday?

To celebrate, I ran the rest of my home trail, all the parts that I didn’t do yesterday.

9k, -2C with my local run club, invited a buddy so I ran his pace.

11k, 5c midday to cover the middle (easiest) parts of the trail, finally,

4k, 15c midafternoon to cover the section that I cheesed out on yesterday (penalty laps in biathlon parlance)

Between yesterday and today, in 28 hours I covered the entire trail plus a few road entrances and exits for 39km.

Which is a lovely start, cause in about 2 months I intend to cover 162k in 28 hours or better.

And my heel is sore, but doesn’t feel “that bad”.

Let’s do this.

Got out after finishing work and getting home. It was a cold and icy one, windchill feeling like 7°F. 8.5K distance.
If you're not living on the edge, you're taking up too much room.
