Got my half marathon in!
2:14:00 so about 7+ minutes off my target pace. 48th overall.
Solid first 7k, started to fatigue and dropped pace/power faster (and earlier)than I’d hoped. Then after 14k found a bit of a second wind and got HR up and pace recovered somewhat. Had enough in the tank to sprint final 2k.
Definitely some positives, like, possibly a “course record” for my age?
And PRs at multiple distances including the half and the 10k.
Good learning experience with lots of takeaways to use for my events later this season. I’ll write a little more in my other thread...
