Saturday April 25

I'm supposed to be in Boston, getting ready for a 10K tomorrow. Plan/goal was for a medal and age grade 90 percent. But that stuff is going to have to wait.

Back home, did 9.1 miles with CV reps (4 minutes and 4X 3:30) on gravel/dirt at an open space area. Jog 1:10 for recovery.  3X 40 sec semi sprints (mid-d level, not true sprints) with equal recovery
3.4 mile warmup, 1.8 mile cool down.

Probably my best workout yet this year/post autumn injury.
I'll stick to running, thank you.

Track workout today! Although the track in the next town is locked, it’s next to a large soccer field. Which is next to a baseball field. Which is next to a cemetery. So I rode my bike down to the cemetery, to the end down a dirt path. Then I scrambled down some rocks. Then I jogged across the fields to the track where I got a great track workout in without getting arrested!

It was actually a virtual 5K with my running club. Ran my fastest 5K in a few years. Had the track all to myself. It was great. I’ll be doing this one a lot.

Day off from running. 20K easy bike ride. Got to retrain my butt to tolerate a bike saddle for any length of time.

I walked 5k this morning in the moody drizzle.

Then did a row workout after crossfit stuff this afternoon.

Ran the pups about a mile in my woods. My pittie got tired so we came in and I ran two more on the treadmill.
