Wanted to go out in the snow this morning, but I didn't have any bread bags handy to keep my feet dry

So I just hung around until D'Wife was ready to go to D'Gym

This would be the 3rd Sunday for the 2019 attempt at the  "Gary the Vale Ultramarathon Training Program" with the idea of doing the Rocky Run 50K in December

For those of you unfamiliar: The Plan goes like this: Every week, you add ONE mile to your long run; ideally, by going 1/2 a mile further on an out-n-back route, so you can look down the road and say to yourself "Self. We're going down to there next week. Just a little further, that's not so bad, right?"

Since I didn't feel like running too far in the snow this morning [bread bags or not] I just hopped on the TM, set my pace and went for it

Knowing, I'd be on there for a little while anyway [my baseline on Week Zero was 3.5 miles, keeping with  @Slowtwitch #ST100in100 #ST100Runs100Days minimum] I watched the end of the Sixers game, and some Eagles pre-game shit, but we had go before the Eagles started to get to Mass on time

Priorities, baby
I left the only woman I ever loved in a strip club in Cleveland. She was a damn good dancer, but she wasn't all that great of a girlfriend

3.9.  Not much, but significant for being the first time in a couple years I split under 30 minutes for 5k.  Bonus points for being by myself on the treadmill.  Some day we'll be able to breathe outside here again.  I've picked up a nice little streak of consistency for the past few weeks.  Hopefully it'll stick around.
