Thursday, June 8

Time trial on the track.
Sadly, at 7:30am the sun has already been up for two hours
and it was pretty warm.
And I still weighed mid 240s.

Warm up jog to the track,
walk a lap, ready, set, go.

First lap at 1:56, then steady 1:59s
First mile in 7:57, then my hammies started
to ache during lap 5, shut it down at lap 6.

I could have made it to two miles, but with my
history of injuries I decided not to push it.

I know have a target run for the weekend.

I notice you run a lot of time trials, you could be pushing your body toward injury, especially if you don't have a sufficient mileage base to support those time trials.

Sprint workout today! My first run in a week to two bruised ribs and shoulder that I got from making a diving catch in softball on Saturday.

Jog 800m
 20 minutes plyometric warm-ups
200m in 35 secs, walk 300
300m in 59 secs, walk 200
200m in 36 secs, 5 mins rest

200m in 36 secs,
100m in 16 secs.

I was supposed to do another 200, but I shut it down after the 100. The extreme arm pumping exacerbated my bruised ribs, so I just stopped

11.3K non fake on Comey Day.
If you're not living on the edge, you're taking up too much room.
