Yesterday I ran my first 5k in years.  My training had been slow, thought I'd have a lethargic time.

Didn't happen that way.  I was AMPED by race time, kicked high intensity music and busted under my first ever sub-20 5k!  I even took 2nd place, although it was a small race.  20 mins had been a goal time of mine for over 10 years; came in about 19:50.

Today, back to 5 miles pretty lethargically at 5 AM through the fog.

Still over the moon!

Strength/core work plus 8 miles. Longer run than usual for a Monday, but I tacked on the 4 miles I didn't run yesterday.

Congrats, Bob!

7 miles total including:

2-mile warm up
6 x 800 meters in 3:10, 3:10, 3:13, 3:13, 3:16, 3:12 with 2-minute rests
2-mile cool down

That was my first speedwork in 2 months. I felt out of shape but glad to get back into it.

Congrats Bob!

Great work, Bob!

I walked 11.5 miles. That takes forever.
