After a 10 mile race in November I took 2 days off to recover. On the third day I went for a run, at the 7 minute mark I got injured.Right out of the blue, no warning.Everything is crappy, but fine, then a twinge in my right foot, next step it hurt, next step it really hurt.In 3 strides I went from OK to limping. Shut down for 10 days to let it heal. After 10 days I ran for 15 seconds, shut it down again. More pain the next day. It's been 8 weeks now. Foot is better. It still aches, but no real pain. It'll be below zero this coming week. Around January 10th I'm going to try to run for a few minutes.Despite missing the last two months it was my highest mileage since 2011.
