Friday August 8th
« on: August 08, 2025, 11:23:06 PM »
Had a crappy nights sleep and just not feeling much life in the legs. It was a day off to hibernate at home mostly with the weather pushing just slightly into the heat warning territory. Finally managed to get my butt out the door just after 7pm. 8K easy.

So I have decided to run again and I'm going to try to post here for... I don't know what.  Not accountability, but maybe motivation.

I was supposed to do my 9 min base run yesterday and I did, through a t storm.  But I did it wrong and my new forerunner isn't recognizing it as the base run so I'll have to try again.

Anyhoo, wish me luck!  I read your daily run reports Eddie and aspire to that lifestyle again.

Glad to have you Rio!

I did 4 miles in town. Was more hilly than I'd anticipated but the weather was nice. 78°F and sunny with almost no wildfire haze.

Welcome Rio!

Last Friday I did a hike with a couple thousand feet of vert, about 11km round trip up toward the Mt Wheeler summit (Great Basin NP). Mixed in just a little jogging on the way down once it flattened out.
