Assuming it was a BQ-ing event, I would be furious.  It took me four years of training, injuries, cancelled marathons, and more injuries to qualify for 2018.  Totally unacceptable.  At The Woodlands last spring the RD offered a voucher to run it again.  No thanks.  I'd like my money back please.

Leaders at the Venice marathon yesterday got steered the wrong way and lost an undetermined amount of time (several minutes, and enough to lose the lead).

Rochey, when you got poisoned in Vegas, was that a Full or a Half?

I forget, but I forever added "Hosewater" to the Evil Rock N Roll Marathon Empire after that incident

I just did the half, and thankfully I only drank 1-2 times.  I noticed it immediately after crossing the finish line.  I don't drink a lot during 10ks or halfs unless it's wickedly humid, which it wasn't.  I even texted Roger to tell him that something was up, but at that time just chalked it up to my body behaving differently to a nighttime race and my nutrition being weirded out as a result.

You can say "IMChoo"

I'm from Slowtwitch

 :D

I avoid that place!  Mainly when they posted pictures of "women that shouldn't do IM".

Have they come up with a name for the guys that cheated at Kona.   Several "floaty pants" were found in the porta potty in the changing tent.    I was expecting another "finman" investigation.   Maybe call it IronLoo...since we have Choo and Moo.😆

wait, what? so they wear floaty underwear in the swim as an aid and then dump them in the porta potty?

My friend worked T1.  Said they found 2 pair by the Porto.    They then I guess found many discarded down the hole🤧🤧

Kind of reminds me of my first venture at real competition where several pro women got penalties for peeing on the seats in changing tent.

Now it's in the rules.  DQ if you pee on your seat in the tents.

Butt only in the tent ... on your bike; that's up to you  :sneaking:

Yes.  We treat our bikes like they are the most precious thing we own...then we piss on them on race day.

This is kind of a dump thread (no pun intended), but speaking of other forums. Letsrun MB hacked was big time this AM.

Pages and pages of:

Is it Kim Jong Un or the infamous troll DRINK F*** FIGHT! who has been Brutal on IV Roids this year? Rumor has it DFF was finally banned this week.

Watch it with that "we," Marly

I, for one, do neither*

I only admit to once.   There used to be a doc that would "cath" himself.   He was told to stop😅.   Beat no one drafted him😂

*well, I'm not much of a triathlete, anymore, so there's that part of it
