Also, considering that sticking as closely as you can to the Advanced 1 program with the 10/20 weekends had not led you to success recently, it's probably a good time to try something new.

yeah... the whole do the thing that fails time and time again is insanity thing

10/20 completed.
New shoes helped. Going slow for both helped. Being stubborn helped.
If that'll actually help me be a better marathon runner... It did in my head for sure.
