Half marathon race. I should have stayed home.

Drove an hour and a half and paid $60 to end up in agony after 25 minutes.
Twisted ankle just before mile 3.
Turned around to walk back to the start.
Got turned around on the intersecting trail.
After 30 minutes I passed the mile 3 marker.
20 minutes later I passed it a second time.
A 4 wheeler gave me a ride to the start/finish
after 70 minutes of walking,
Reported the DNF to the finish line
and drowned my sorrow in a double whopper
and a dose of Jurassic World.

The injury is on the foot that was injured before,
but on the outside of the foot.
Maybe only a strain.
Tomorrow I will find out how serious it is.
Maybe I lose a week, maybe I lose a year.

Ugh, that's got to be as frustrating as all get out. Hoping it's an only lose a couple of days thing, PA.

Tough going PA.  :(

14 good miles for me. Ran on the Toronto Waterfront past the screaming cars during qualifying for the Molson Indy and then ran by the #WorldNakedBikeRide group.   :e)

I won the 50 meters (7.22) and 100 meters (13.85) at the Massachusetts Sr. Games to stretch my winning streak to 8 races.
