11 miles, easy effort (8:43 pace). It was 41°F at the outset.

40.7 miles for the week.

20 miles.

Perfect fall day on the Charles River…sunny & cool.  I found myself trapped and having to swim upstream through an enormous breast cancer walk from miles 10-15.  That was a trip.  This walk had thousands of people and they just did not fit on the trails along the river.  They really should have closed roads for a walk of this size.  I spent a lot of energy bobbing and weaving.  I bet they raised a ton of money with that event though.

Quadruple workout today!

1.  Jogged 2 miles down to the bank to deposit a check, then jogged home.
2.  90 minutes of Yoga X
3.  After a break for lunch, I will rake up all the leaves on the lawn, then mow it.  For some reason, the oak tree's been shedding leaves really early this fall.
4.  Then I will hike 5-6 miles with the dog in the town forest and enjoy the beautiful New England foliage.

I love Sundays.

2 miles easy. Hopefully a good ten miler this evening. I blew off 3 days last week and feel guilty about the let up. But work sucked, the weather sucked, etc. The rest did some good since the run felt really easy.

Good miles everybody.

Caito, what race are you training for?

I just got in from mowing.  Going out for nine in the local hills and foliage at halftime.   :)

5K road race this morning.  The race was advertised as flat.  About 100 yards into the race, we ran up a steep hill.  Once up the hill it wasn't bad, except for the head wind (can't blame the race director for that).  I ran 28:22 and was first in my age group (the only one) and, more importantly, finished in the top half.
