Question, is this a different type of couscous since the grains are so big?
Question, is this a different type of couscous since the grains are so big? I ask because one of the local markets around here was selling something they called Moroccan couscous. It had big grains like this. It was awesome. i bought some the other day (just asked for it, didn't look for it) and it had small grains. I was confused. But I am new to eating couscous. The new stuff is still good, but I liked the other stuff better.
couscous is a semolina pasta - the israeli couscous/moroccan couscous grains are just made larger.
