Wednesday February 18th

More of the same for me.  Temp was about 38, so lots of snow melting across the sidewalks I run on.  I'm running around our local college campus right now as it's right down the street from me.  The run around the perimeter of the main campus is about 1.5 miles, so convenient when I'm trying to get back to regular running.

Anyway, 1.6 miles today.  So damn slow!  9:20 pace, but it is what it is right now for this out of shape 58 year-old dude.

As my daughter would say, "It's whatever I guess." :eyeroll:

Interesting ski conditions today. I did an 11.5 km skate on crushed ice and ice cubes. After several days of unseasonably warm temps (50s) and some overnight rain the snow has mostly melted away, but on the manmade ski loops there is still a 2-3 foot base so it was very skiable if you don't mind packed slush. It's actually pretty fast as well.

Snow storm day. Morning was sleet, ice pellets, hail. Ran 2K to the subway and that was it. By the time I left work, there was a couple of inches of crusty snow on the ground.
If you're not living on the edge, you're taking up too much room.
