Hi did another Tuesday double. In the morning a little over 6 miles with 4X 1 mile tempo (7:17, 6:50, 6:37, 6:32) with HR going from 112 on the first one (that seemed a little off because HR was slower than my warm up at 9 min pace) to 140. In the afternoon 7X 1:45-2:00 hill reps with just slightly less recovery time on most of them. On those HR ranged from 120s on the early ones to 140 on the last one. So the purpose of these it to get to just below threshold effort, but do it twice in a day. 10.5 miles total for the day.
