My team and I ran at the USATF 12K road race championships in New Jersey yesterday.
Mixed results, we have been in the running for the overall Grand Prix title this year and had been leading the series going into the race. Wasn't our day as we only had three runners, the minimum for scoring, and one of our guys pulled a hamstring and had to walk in. So we got 3rd place and the host team won and now wins the 2022 championship. We can still lock a 2nd place with a good showing next month with a 5K XC race on our home course. Individually I also got a bronze medal, and being in the final 6 months of my age group I'm happy with that.
