3 miles. 66°F. Beginning to warm up again here. We seem to be in weather yo-yo season.

I just led out a Kids 1K at a Canada Day race I was race directing. Had a 10 yard lead on the kids and two kids kept up with me till about the 600m mark, when a couple 10 year olds blew by me.
   :moon:

They finished the 1K in ~3:30 with me 30m behind.

If you're not living on the edge, you're taking up too much room.

7km before it got hot. Favorite local hilly trail, lots of double digit grades.
Not super pleased with my effort, yet, still notched two “PRs” and a couple other solid segments on the uphill sections.

For the first time I’m starting to see intervals that help confirm that my stretch goal for my July 17 race might be achievable… (2:30 for a 20k) but I’ll also have to be able to sustain it for more than just short intervals.

24*C and 85%RH.
Really not a bad run then, considering the humidity (which usually kicks my butt)
