Sprint workout today! Why a sprint workout and not a normal distance running track workout? It’s because I am going to Boston Red Sox fantasy baseball camp in January!! Baseball involves sprinting, not distance running. I do play hockey once a week which works the fast twitch muscles but it isn’t sprinting.
Jog 1 mile warm-up.
20 minutes of dynamic stretching and sprint drills (high knees, butt kicks, Mach A and B skips, grapevines, stride progressions)
10 x 60m @ 85-90%.
Jog 1 mile
I also threw baseballs at 90 feet for about 10 minutes afterwards.
