14K.  Went a little longer in order to pay for my chocolate bar and Cheetos afternoon snacks.   :P
If you're not living on the edge, you're taking up too much room.

1 mile about 7:50
That makes 20 laps in the new shoes all under 2:00.

Walk a lap. Two miles 8:25, 7:50.
The new shoes are definitely snug.
Size 12 is like size 11, and they are D wide instead of E.

It seems the new shoes are about 8 seconds a lap faster than
the old sloppy shoes. I can feel the difference with each step.
It's just a matter if the new shoes hold up for a half marathon
or if they will hurt or injure my feet.
