Just a 3K.  Recovering from Sunday's morning half marathon race, but more bothersome is I have a minor ankle sprain and bruised left knee as a result of a first base collision playing softball on Sunday afternoon.    :wah:
If you're not living on the edge, you're taking up too much room.

Went to the track feeling pretty good.
It was a little too hot for something too long,
so I decided on a mile time trial.

Old time was 7:42, from 5 weeks ago,
felt sure I could go under 7:30,
which would be :56 second 200s and 1:52 400s.

First 200 was :51, then :55 for 1:46 first lap.
For some reason I thought I had 1:41 in the bank
and thought I was 5 seconds faster than I was.
1:51, 1:52, 1:49, 2.5 followed for a 7:22, a 20 second improvement.

I thought I was going to hit 7:18, but 7:22 is still good.
The run wasn't too hard, and more importantly it
was pain free.
Walked 2 laps, then jogged 2 miles. 3.3 miles total.
