My last 5K was kind of a disaster. It was faster than anything I was doing in training, but pretty disappointing. With what I learned in that 5K, I modified my training.
Today I ran just over 5 minutes faster; running 28:29 on a sunny course. I think I was first in my age group (70-79) but won't know until they post the results. Also, my "kick" was decent as I passed two runners less than 50 yards from the finish.
