A smidge over five miles.  There was ice on the ground.

3.1 miles TM run/walk.  Since I'm finally over shin splints and little aches and pains that I had when I started, and I wasn't feeling it aerobically, today I bumped up the speed of the run interval.  The last 2 were tough!  I'll hang here until it feels better.

7 miles, which I interrupted to help an old lady get rid of the snow on her car that was parked in front of her house.  Had I not helped, she would have been working on it for an hour, at least, at the pace she was going. I felt good afterwards.  Good deed of the day.

Yesterday while waiting for the pharmacy I gave up my seat to somebody who looked like she needed it. I was annoyed because I wanted to sit but it was the right thing to do. She thanked me at checkout and I said my pleasure and by then I meant it.
