I feel we need to acknowledge this on the Running Forum.


Jacob Kiplimo of Uganda , 24, finished in 56:42 at the 2025 Barcelona Half Marathon — shattering the previous half marathon record of 57:30 set by Ethiopia's Yomif Kejelcha last year in Valencia.

7K run commute this morning. Good choice in that subways weren't working yet due to snow conditions and traffic was nuts. Bad choice on some sidewalks that weren't cleared yet.


2K run commute from nearest subway station to home in the evening.
