Gah, haven't been keeping up with reporting here lately, but still been putting in the miles...4.5 yesterday with some strides in the middle.

Decided to do some hill repeats. Wound up doing a grand total of two of them. Thing is, this hill is 1.4 miles long and gains about 730 feet, so that's like a 10 percent grade, give or take. I did these in stocking feet because lately my feet have become really hot in any runs longer than 3 miles in these shitty Hokas I have, especially on a treadmill. Had the belt set at 5 mph at first and gradually picked it up to 7.5 mph y the end. Took about 25 min. rest between reps, long enough to take a quick shower. The whole time this old guy lazily pedaling an exercycle was staring at my crotch from across the room. Whenever I'd catch him he's avert his gaze and pretend to start fingering his crotch and whistling, but I wasn't fooled. I think I'll start using my home treadmill, but there's this one really fit lass who's like 5' 7" and 135 pounds and muscular that I'd like to invite out for a drink in the hope of eventually having sex with her, so there are numerous competing factors at work here. Anyway, I think I am close to a < 19 5K.
