6 mile with 5x800.

5.5 miles supremely pissed off. I was planning on 8 miles, but the JACKASS ON A BICYCLE WHO FOLLOWED ME FOR TWO BLOCKS forced a change in plans.
I am so angry. Why do women have to deal with this shit?
-
Ugh, creepy. I got a predatory once-over from a DPW worker yesterday as I ran a few feet from him, passing by a little too close for comfort, and was glad I was almost done & home. So unsettling.
Out early with my friend for our Thursday morning bike loop. Flat, with some chit-chat...about an hour for 16-ish miles.

Call the police and report it. That's fucking bullshit.

I called when I got home. The police told me I should have called "when it happened." :eyeroll: Sure. I'll just stop here in the middle of the street with Threatening Bicycle Dude staring at me to make a phone call.

Wow.
So much stretch. Such bicycling. Many weights.
:lambie:
(And that's complete bullshit, CA.)

Ugh.
Although, depending on how I was feeling in that moment, stopping to take a pic of him might not be a bad thing. Blatantly take a pic and announce that you are calling to report him. Would it be taking a risk to provoke, or would it scare him off? The shitty thing is there's no way to know for sure. And either way, it sucks that you have to change what you're doing, think about your options, and react to something like that. Whether it's the whim of some idiot who thinks he's funny, or a real threat, it sucks.

Sorry, Amy. That's two days this week you had your run cut short, right?
4.25 miles here.

I yelled at him to get away from me.
I first encountered him urinating on a tree. I was running in the bike lane and I crossed to the other side of the street to avoid him. About a block further up, I crossed back over to the bike lane and soon realized he was behind me (going the wrong way in the bike lane). I made a right turn to go up to a more heavily populated area and he turned along with me. I zig-zagged to the other side of the street - he did the same and when he pulled up along side me, I started yelling. He pedaled ahead and I saw another female running coming in my direction so I joined her and we ran together (in the opposite direction) for about five blocks until we were sure he was gone.

Yeah. Ran into the police pulling bodies out of the river yesterday morning.
It's not a good running week for me.

WTF. That is scary as shit. :fiery:

2.9 miles -- tapering for a 5K on Saturday

Sick today, so I had to skip my run. Hope to be back tomorrow.
-
Uneventful run for me today - not another soul was seen.
6.1 on the AT with sunny skies and 70° - around 500' of vertical gain running along the top of the mountain. Absolutely loving this weather!
