I just picked up a never been used cuisinart pro series 11 cup food processor for $40 from an acquaintance.. I've made pesto and something that was frozen yogurt like... I'm going to try to make y own hummus...
Give me some ideas of what you use yours for that I would not think of
Thanks!!

Does it have the shredding atachments? If so, coleslaw :D

Yes tons of attachments

Latkes
Homemade pasta
Pureeing soups
Bread crumbs
Cheesecake
A huge variety of dips and salsas
Pizza dough
I was thinking of using mine to make homemade butter.

i find pureeing the soup not great in the food processor, and prefer the stick blender.
I do not use it for a variety of things, mostly when we make DD's favorite roasted beet and tofu burgers. I find it better at hummus than the vita mix.

I love the slicer and shredder because I refuse to peel vegetables :D I use it for coleslaw, carrot salad, beet salad, making noodles out of veggies, stir fry.
With the blade I make: pancakes, sauce, pesto, nut flour, frozen bananas, pureed cauliflower, riced cauliflower.

Oh yes, I riced cauliflower in there are it was easy and tasty.
-
I definitely want to try to make peanut butter in there for sure

Salsa!! Never buy jarred salsa again. You can even used canned tomatoes and it's still better than that cooked stuff.

Just in the past year I learned that I can shred cheese in my FP. Best revelation ever!

If you don't have a kitchen aid mixer, the food processor can be a great way to make bread dough. Nothing in crazy amounts though. Maybe pizza dough, which I used to make using my cuisinart.
