Title: If you're going to use a batch of moruga scorpion peppers

to make some harissa paste a mask is prolly not a bad idea.
Or violent coughing and vomiting are likely to follow.

Ouch!

Well, I'll assume you at least wore gloves! DH can't seem to remember that and every year he ends up in great pain. Not scorpion peppers of course, though, thankfully.

I roasted a few pounds of hatch chilis last week.  Even though I washed my hands a dozen times (b/c they were medium hot I didn't wear gloves) the taking out of contact lenses that night was uber painful.  And the contact lenses had to go in the trash: two days in disinfectant solution did nothing.

What would happen if you ate an entire trinidad moruga scorpion pepper (http://www.livescience.com/34187-trinidad-moruga-scorpion-chili-pepper.html)

I love hot peppers, but I'm still a white girl who cries when eating scotch bonnets (I still eat them)... so, yeah, moruga scorpion peppers are out.  I prostrate myself in reverence, gebuh, even if you did puke.
