I've had a bread machine since my kids were little, used it all the time then. I put it away and didn't touch it again until yesterday.
One of the problems I had with it was the difficulty making good quality non-white flour loaves.
Anyway a couple of days ago I found this (http://southamericanfood.about.com/od/breads/r/quinoaoatmealbread.htm) recipe for quinoa bread - and I just happened to have some on hand so I tried it out. But instead of letting the bread machine do all the work I just used it on the dough setting and then baked it in the oven following the directions here (http://sewmuch2luv.blogspot.com/2011/05/how-to-oven-bake-your-bread-machine.html).
It didn't rise as much as it should have (that prolly has more to do with the yeast - I keep it in the freezer, but it expired years ago). But it turned out really well. Then I used the jam setting to make some raspberry jam to go along with it.

Yum! I'll have to try it sometime.

thanks for sharing... it looks gluten free, so I may have to try it!

oh, that's hilarious. When I view it, the last three ingredients didn't line up with the rest, so I totally missed that. :D D'oh!
