Title: How long will Vaccum sealed wine last?
Post by: crazypants on January 22, 2013, 03:35:51 PM
I opened a red wine last night, had a glass with dinner, vacuum sealed it, and it's now on my counter.
How long will it last like this?

It'll last several days at least. And you can always pump it down more if you're concerned about the vacuum not sealing. We have one of those things and I love it!!!

Thanks. I live alone, only drink one glass at a time (maybe  a glass and a half) and don't drink wine everynight, so the vacuum stopper has been a total saver for me too :D

I usually microwave leftover wine until the alcohol is out of it, and then freeze it for use in sauces, etc.

We drink very little alcohol, so when guests come, we always have leftovers.
