It’s Friday!
Had a nice 7k road run this morning. Already up to 22*C (75F) by the time I got out the door.
Started out running a few blocks with my DW (who was riding a road bike). Finished the 5k neighborhood loop, then after doing a few odd jobs around the house, ran back out 1k to meet her on the way back in.
Last Sunday’s Achilles soreness is all-but-gone (still a couple pairs of shoes that irritate it, but my road shoes did fine today which is good because these same shoes irritated it 2 days ago. )
Today was supposed to be just an easy run… but listening to Fitz and The Tantrums - More Than Just A Dream got me motivated to pick up the pace and ended up with a few zone 2 and zone 3 splits to keep time to the music.
