Title: Wednesday Novermber 5th
Post by: Fast Eddie on November 05, 2025, 06:49:28 PM
Blustery Fall day with light showers, but a few ticks warmer than average, so shorts and a long sleeve zip top was the fashion for the day. 10.9K.

Treadmilled it!  3 miles or so.

Eddie - tell me about the chilly half.  It used to be a staple on the race calendar and I'm thinking of signing up as a 48th bday present to myself.

I won't if I'm in any danger of being swept, my ego couldn't take that, lol.

Is it pretty flat?  Good wind block or lots of wind?

I also noticed ATB is in April this year - is that a permanent change?  I thought it was always March.

Chilly Half is celebrating it's 30th Anniversary, so it will be well attended. Route is mainly on the Lakeshore, out & back towards Oakville. Fairly flat. Wind might be an issue on the inbound west back to Burlington City Hall. I expect a sell out this year, so sign up before January.

ATB got moved from it's last Sunday in March date due to JUNO awards. Easter Holiday, and Spring Break conflicts.
