3.25k tempo run with 1.5k or so walk tacked on the end. Missed a few days due to disorganization so trying to rectify that moving forward.
The tempo was supposed to be goal pace. I got it up to 6 min/km but it definitely wasn't for the duration. But I got it there and sustained it for a bit so, baby steps.
Goal 1: 10k through run, no pace goal
Goal 2: 10k through run, 60 min
Goal 3: 50 min 10k
Goal 4: half
Goal 5: 2 hour half
Ill probably die or break myself before thay last one, but I did it before and want to do it again.

Mile warm up, 4x600 repeats at mile pace with a jog back to the start, mile warm down. Total of 5.1 miles. Nice workout to stretch my legs and get them moving for a 5K road race Saturday.

I just found out there is an ultra run on the west highland way trail.
Goal 6 has just been solidified. Maybe a 50th birthday goal.

Nice. Having a race to train for is usually what keeps me dedicated.
