3k. It seems so pathetic. But I'm trying to follow the program to the letter.
And I've never been a fast runner, always like a 9/10 minute mile. 2 hour half kind of runner.
But jaysus. I'm so slow! 7:30/km. And it's not easy. My Garmin so kindly reminded me of all my personal records just now and it was hard to see the 5 min km times while still huffing from the slowest 3k in the world :D
I'm in good humour about it though. I certainly won't get back there if I dont put in the time.

You'll definitely get back there. Too much or too fast too soon either means you get hurt or you quit.
4.8 miles on the treadmill. It was a warm-up then 4x1:30 below 5K pace then a warm-down. Never did any speed work on the treadmill, that wasn't so bad.

You'll get to where you want to be. I always feel slow these days. When someone asks me, I usually tell them my strategy was to start off slow, then taper off. :D
My boy runs college cross and track, so there is no way I'm in his league. He has all the gadgets for training. I just tell him I'm a hippie runner. Nothing with me that's electronic. :peace:
BTW 3 miles today. I run at lunch and am finding as the temperature drops, my runs improve. Imagine that.
ETA that this was my Thursday run.
